Ian has been involved in music since the age of 8, when he picked up his first guitar. At 15, he bought a set of second-hand turntables and everything changed. Now, at 22 he has a slew of remixes under his belt and stays busy running the StirSound netlabel as well as working on various musical projects.

His productions range from Techno to Computer-Jazz. On his own, he writes under several guises such as Jon Doe, The Ambiguous They, Apocalipstick, plus a secret project. He is also one half of DownTime alongside long-time friend Adam Virga (aka April Vallen) and one half of Middle Man Revolt with Leggo.
